A practical guide for introducing telework initiatives entitled 'Implementing Telework' has been developed by the MIRTI project (Model of Industrial relations in Telework Innovation) funded by the EU's Telematics Applications programme. The guide identifies procedures and standards for the development of telework and had been developed as a user-friendly hypertext. It contains guidelines for companies and public administrations wishing to introduce telework, recommendations of procedures when telework is introduced, and guidelines for telework contracts. At the heart of the 'electronic book' is a database of telework case studies and collective agreements. The report should be of great use to projects under the IST programme, especially those under the second Key Action 'New methods of work and electronic commerce.' It is available in five languages, English, Italian, German, French and Spanish) on the Web, at: http://www.telework-mirti.org/(opens in new window)
