EU-India: Call for proposals of INDIGO POLICY Linking Programme is now open

INDIGO POLICY Linking Programme call for proposals has been launched on 24 July 2014 and is open until 29 September 2014. This programme will support the establishment of multilateral virtual laboratories in biotechnology in the field of health, involving minimum 2 European and 1 Indian research teams.

The selected project will be the opening of a bilateral cooperation (EU-EU or EU-India) to a new partner or a formalisation of an informal multilateral network, proposing a complementary cooperation. The selected project should propose a complementary cooperation, which brings a clear added value to the current collaboration. Seed grants of up to 30,000 euros will be provided during 18 months (January 2015 – June 2016) to the selected projects. INDIGO POLICY will fund mobility activities and related workshop for the preparatory meetings to lay the foundation of the multilateral virtual laboratory. The projects partners will afterwards use national funding and national cooperation tools to set up the practical cooperation on the long run. Minimum requirements are the participation of at least 2 European and 1 Indian research teams. The European partners must be from the European Union Member States and Associated Countries but yet, not from the same country. Partners can be public research labs (university or non-university). Participation of small and medium entreprises (SMEs) and industries are strongly encouraged but will not be funded by INDIGO POLICY. INDIGO POLICY is, together with INNO INDIGO (ERA-NET) the successor of New Indigo (2009 to 2013), which launched 4 calls for proposals and led to the funding of 35 projects.
