Studies on research needs and strategies for the Growth programme
The European Commission's Research Directorate-General intends to launch a call for tenders for four studies in order to evaluate RTD needs and development strategies for the Competitive and Sustainable Growth programme, part of the Fifth Framework Programme, and future activities. The tender, expected to be launched after 21 January 2000, will be divided into four batches: - Study on RTD needs for technological and organisational innovation in manufacturing industries and related services: regional differences and potentials for synergies in Europe; - Study on the use of certified reference materials in Europe; - Study on the assessment of the economic role of measurements within modern society; - Study on the interaction between standardisation and intellectual property rights.
