Call for applications for the FORCE programme
The Commission of the European Communities, Task Force Human Resources, Education, Training and Youth, issues an open call for applications in the context of the action programme for the development of continuing vocational training in the European Community (FORCE), 1991-1994. The call concerns Strand I of the programme (Industrial Changes) and Strand II (Results of sectoral surveys and analysis of contractual policy), and is published in due time to permit interested parties to locate partners and prepare proposals in the framework of the following measures: - An exchange scheme to promote the rapid dissemination of innovation in continuing vocational training and a significant improvement in access to it; - Preparatory work on the design and development of transnational or cross-frontier continuing vocational training pilot schemes, by undertakings, groups of undertakings or training bodies in various Member States with a view to promoting the transfer of information and know-how in the Community; - The exchange of experience between socioprofessional organizations, workers' and employers' organizations and other parties concerned in order to encourage the dissemination of innovatory contractual agreements; - Transnational cooperation between experts to analyse and forecast trends in demands for qualifications and occupations; As strong competition is expected, applicants are encouraged to present only proposals which are detailed and carefully prepared and meet with the criteria set out in the application documentation.
