IST programme calls for experts
The European Commission's Information Society Technologies (IST) research programme is calling for expressions of interest from experts for assistance in various technological, administrative and organisational tasks occurring in the Directorates managing the IST programme. Persons or organisations interested in having their names included on a list of potential contractors are invited to submit an application in accordance with the rules set out in the official call text. The call is open from 4 January 2000 and the list of candidates will be updated regularly. The list drawn up following this notice will be used solely for contracts whose estimated values are below the thresholds laid down in the relevant public procurement Directives. The list will be divided into two sub-lists each of which will correspond to one of the following activities : - Assistance in the preparation of technical documents, in particular of the successive updates of the work programme, as well as assistance in reporting on conferences, workshops, working groups, meetings, exhibitions and other information and awareness events; - Technical assistance in analysing the results of evaluations following the IST calls for proposals.
