A call for proposals under the Media II programme, intended to encourage the development and distribution of European audiovisual works, has been launched by the Commission.

Independent European production companies are invited to apply for support from the European Commission for activities which further the objectives of the Media II programme. These aims are: to promote the development of production projects aimed at the European market and to encourage the development of production companies.

Interested parties wishing to respond to this call should request further information from the Education and Culture Directorate-General.
