Services for Netd@ys Europe Week - prior information
During November 2000, the European Commission will organise the Netd@ys Europe Week for the fourth consecutive year (see CORDIS News RCN 11379). This will involve an extensive campaign to promote the value and potential afforded to education and culture by new media, particularly the Internet, and to enable European citizens to acquire the skills and tools necessary for full and active participation in the Information Society. The Commission's Education and Culture Directorate-General will therefore shortly publish a call for tenders (planned for March 2000) for a communication strategy to promote the event and to provide an in-depth evaluation of this campaign. The tender will also seek coordination of activities carried out in conjunction with Netd@ys Europe and organisation of the launch of the event. A second part of the call will request tenders to create and manage a Netd@ys Europe 2000 Internet site.
