On-line information on the EU's radiation protection activities
The Environment Directorate-General Radiation Protection unit aims to establish uniform safety standards - and ensure they are applied - to protect the health of workers and the public who are exposed to radiation. Since 1976, the radiation protection unit has published information on a broad range of issues relating to ionising radiation and radiation protection.
