The Research Directorate-General has announced a further call for proposals under the Competitive and Sustainable Growth programme of the European Community's Fifth Framework Programme.

The call relates to fixed deadline calls and addresses the following parts of the Work Programme:

-- Generic activities measurement and testing;
- methodologies to support standardisation and Community policies
- measurements and testing anti-fraud methodologies
- support to the development of certified reference materials (CRMs)

-- Support for research infrastructures;
- setting up of virtual institutes
- reference data bases
- measurement and quality management infrastructures

Potential proposers are reminded to consult the official call text in the Official Journal of the European Communities for further details of the topics covered by the call.
