Organising IST 2000
Tenders are being sought by the Information Society Directorate-General for a contract to prepare, set up and organise IST 2000, the annual information society technologies event, taking place at the Palais de Nice Acropolis on 6 to 8 November 2000. The invitation to tender is divided into four lots: - lot 1: preparation, setting up and organisation of the IST 2000 conference for approximately 4000 delegates; - lot 2: preparation, setting up and organisation of the exhibition which will take place over an area of around 4000 square metres; - lot 3: preparation, setting up and organisation of the award ceremony for the 'European Prize for Information Society Technologies'; - lot 4: preparation, setting up and organisation of media and activities concerning the press.
