Services for SMEs and entrepreneurship
Various services are required by the Enterprise Directorate-General for the promotion of entrepreneurship and SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises). Tender procedures should be launched before the end of August, and will cover the following: - study on the identification of tools used in Member States to promote entrepreneurship; - study on 'subcontracting in CEEC countries'; - technical and administrative assistance to the information and cooperation networks of DG Enterprise; - audit and quality control of the information and cooperation networks of DG Enterprise; - study to improve measures for support services; - study on the legislation for cooperatives and mutual benefit associations in Member States and applicant countries; - study providing statistics on social economy: completion and exploitation of database; - study on 'alternative forms of entrepreneurship in Europe'.
