ESPRIT microelectronics work in collaboration with JESSI
The Commission of the European Communities has issued a call for expressions of interest in the frame of the specific programme in the field of information technology (ESPRIT 3) for work in microelectronics. Representing the core of ESPRIT work in this field, its aim is to pursue the establishment at industrial level of the next generation of CMOS and BICMOS technologies. The call concerns work to be carried out in collaboration with the Joint European Submicron Silicon Initiative (JESSI). The Commission has received three proposals from JESSI for the following projects: - ADEQUAT (Advanced Developments for 0,25 um CMOS technologies; - TIBIA (Technology Initiative in BICMOS for Applications); - MST III (Manufacturing Science and Technology for ICs production). Organizations wishing to be considered for either contributing to, or drawing on, the results of the work planned in the above proposals may submit expressions of interest for participation.
