SME success stories
A selection of thriving small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) which have been helped to success by the EU project Eureka has been put together in booklet form, and is available for downloading from the Eureka website. Eureka is a European network for market-oriented research and development, enabling industry and research institutes from 26 member countries and the EU to collaborate in developing and exploiting innovative technologies. SMEs have traditionally been a rich source of innovation, and are often referred to as the 'engine of job creation'. The examples chosen by Eureka are only a fraction of those whose products are enjoying world wide success. The companies illustrated in the booklet are benefiting from growth, expansion and higher turnover, and Eureka says its is proud to have played a key role in their success.
