Second phase of TEDIS programme
COM(90) 475 proposes that the second phase of the TEDIS (Trade Electronic Data Interchange Systems) programme for EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) be implemented for a period of three years from 1 July 1991. Objectives are to ensure that EDI systems are established to the best effect in view of their socio-economic importance, and to mobilize resources to achieve this end at Community level. Measures include: Standardization; EDI interconnection; legal aspects; security of messages; multi-sector and Europe-wide projects; analysis of EDI impact on company management; information campaigns.
