The Joint Research Centre in Petten, the Netherlands, requires two prototype uranium-silicide fuel elements and one dummy element for its high flux reactor at Petten. An award procedure will begin in July for the potential tenderers. The supply includes the provision of the necessary enriched uranium (19,75 per cent U-235), the manufacture and delivery of the elements, and related services, including transport to Petten and obtaining the necessary licences.
