ESA Director's term of office is extended
Antonio Rodotà, Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA) is set to remain at the organisation's helm now that ESA Council members have voted to extend his term of office for a period of two years from 1 July 2001. At the same time, ESA Council Members decided to renew the terms of contract for both ESA's Director of Industrial Matters and Technology, Hans Kappler, and ESA's Director of Administration, Daniel Sacotte. Both contracts are renewed for a period of four years from 1 June 2001.
