The European Commission's Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS) has issued an invitation to tender for a group of economists with high quantitative modelling and policy assessment capabilities. A contract award will be given for one group as a whole, although contracts may be concluded with the natural person or with the respective organisation of individual members of the group. The group is expected to operate for a period of three years. Tenders for the service must therefore be submitted by a minimum of three, to a maximum of five, high-calibre economists, (not necessarily forming a legal entity - please refer to official call text for further details). The referred group will: - provide advice to the IPTS on the design and implementation of the modelling capabilities to be developed under the framework of the futures project; - meet at least twice a year in 2001, 2002 and 2003; - facilitate expert assessment during the transfer process; - provide practical written recommendations during the model adaptation phase; - collaborate with IPTS by electronic and other means in the course of the duration of the contract.
