Safety considerations in buses and coaches
A call for tenders for a study on safety considerations in buses and coaches has been published by the European Commission's Enterprise DG. The study should investigate the safety of longitudinal seating in buses and coaches. It will focus particularly on appropriate literature surveys, accident data analysis and consultation of interested parties concerning, among other things, preferred options concerning characteristics of such seating, including the suitability of seat belts.
