Biotechnology documentation centre set up at the Joint Research Centre
A documentation centre, BIOSAFE, has been created at the European Communities' Joint Research Centre to serve the competent authorities, and other interested parties, in the implementation of EC Directives 90/219 and 90/220. BIOSAFE will gather documents relating to biotechnology safety and regulations and will produce a regular bulletin containing, amongst other things, a listing of the collected documents.
