A database on marine equipment approvals and a technical secretariat are required by the Energy and Transport Directorate-General, who have issued an invitation to tender.

The technical secretariat will assist the Chairman of the group of notified bodies under the Marine Equipment Directive, and elaborate, manage and keep up-to-date a database concerning the marine equipment for which the notified bodies have granted, refused or withdrawn their approval.
