Researching knowledge management
TFPL, an international knowledge and information management consultancy, has begun a research project investigating the skills and competencies required in knowledge environments. The research, based on a survey of knowledge management practitioners and their employers, will be used to update a report TFPL previously produced on 'Skills for knowledge management: building a knowledge economy' (1999). The project will examine the roles concerned with the development of knowledge environments, the implementation of knowledge management initiatives and the sharing and utilisation of knowledge.
