Preparing the Chemicals-Stakeholders Conference
The European Commission will shortly open an invitation to tender for the preparation of the Chemicals-Stakeholders Conference where the Commission's White paper on future EU strategy will be presented. The following activities will be required (non-exhaustive list): - preparatory activities to select participants and drafting of the participants list; - selection of the high-profile speakers and preparatory activities to ensure their participation; - preparation and drafting of issue papers and all other necessary support documents in English; - ensure adequate link with the Commission counterparts; - review and summary of scientific/technical publications; - establishment of a report after the conference in English; - preparation of communication tools on the conference in English; - provision of documentary/research support and technical expertise on all mentioned issues. It is anticipated that award procedures will begin on 8 August 2000.
