Wood fuel database goes live
An extensive wood-based fuel database, created by biomasse normandie, has been switched live on the Internet. Researchers will be able to use and navigate the new site using 1,000 key words. Complemented by illustrations and bibliographies, the service is divided into four major chapters - wood fuel, an overview; - resources and biocombustibles; - energy production and distribution technologies; - study of the practice of wood-based heating. The database has been put together in collaboration with many groups and has benefited from the assistance of, among others, the European Commission and ADEME, the French agency for environment and energy management. The main target audience is those who practice in the area of wood-fuel (researchers, students, etc) decision makers in the same field and the general public.
