Ten-Telecom set to call for proposals at the end of October
The next call for proposals for the European Commission's Ten-Telecom initiative will be published at end of October this year for projects of common interest in the field of trans-European telecommunications networks, on generic services and on network-based applications in eight sectors of public interest. In addition, the Commission's latest summary report on recent developments and current trends in Europe in the field of telecommunications are now available on-line. These reports are published twice a year, in order to provide selected information as strategic guidance to the TEN-Telecom programme, and to support the identification of the most promising areas for future trans-European telecommunications networks projects.
