The European Commission is launching a call for proposals aimed at the implementation of projects of common interest related to generic services and applications supported by trans-European telecommunications networks. The project proposals should demonstrate the commitment of the organisations or consortia to ultimately deploy the applications or services in a real market environment. The proposals may either address the study phase of the project, or the initial market deployment phase. Proposals must refer to one or more of the following projects for this call for proposals: - trans-European telecommunications generic service - trans-European telecommunications networks for education and training - trans-European telecommunications networks for access to Europe's cultural heritage - trans-European telecommunications applications and services for SMEs - trans-European telecommunications networks for transport and mobility - trans-European telecommunications networks for the environment and emergency management - trans-European telecommunications networks for health and consumer protection - trans-European city and regional information networks (as a combination of projects mentioned above) - trans-European telecommunications networks for new work methods and services for the job market.
