Energy call, part B
The European Commission has initiated an open call for proposals for RTD actions under the specific programme for research, technological development and demonstration on 'energy, environment and sustainable development' for the period 1998 to 2002. The objectives, priorities, indicative budget and types of indirect RTD actions referred to in this call notice correspond to those set out in the work programme, updated in October 2000 by the Commission. This needs to be used in conjunction with the March 2000 version of the EESD: Part B - Energy work programme. Proposals are called for under a continuous submission scheme, which, depending on the type of indirect action submitted, will be evaluated at fixed intervals, for which deadlines for receipt are provided. The call relates to the following areas: -RTD activities of a generic nature A budget of 8.4 million euro is available for this area, Deadlines for receipt are 9 February 2001 and 14 December 2001 -Training Individual fellowships Host fellowships A budget of up to 5.6 million euro is available for this area. Deadlines for receipt are 9 February 2001 and 14 December 2001 -Accompanying measures A budget of up to 33.42 million euro is available for this area. Deadlines for receipt are 9 February 2001, 14 December 2001 and 15 march 2002 -SME measures Exploratory awards Co-operative research A budget of up to 25 million euro is available for this area.
