Proposed RTD programme in marine science and technology
The Commission has submitted an amended proposal for a Council Decision (COM(90) 574 of 30.11.1990) concerning a specific RTD programme in the field of marine science and technology. Topics include marine science, coastal engineering and marine technology plus supporting initiatives and integrated projects. The intention is not to replace but to complement the previous programme in this field (MAST). The programme shall be adopted from the date of publication of the Decision in the Official Journal to 31 December 1994. Community funds estimated as necessary for its execution amount to ECU 104 million.
