ECSC call for proposals announced
The European Commission is inviting the submission of project proposals for the 2001 ECSC technical coal research programme in the fields of mining engineering and coal utilisation (pursuant to Article 55 of the ECSC Treaty). Particular importance is attached to project proposals relating to the reduction of the cost and environmental impact of coal mining and coal utilisation, and to health, safety and working conditions in relation to technological developments in those fields. The Commission will give preference to proposals for large, coherent and well-integrated projects for which aid of at least one million euro is requested.
