Eradication and monitoring of animal diseases and prevention of zoonoses
The European Commission has published its decision approving the programme for the eradication of animal diseases and of the prevention of zoonoses presented for the year 2001 by the Member States. Details of the level of Community funding going to the Member States to help tackle the following diseases are set out in the Official Journal of the European Communities at the reference below. - Rabies - Bovine brucellosis - Bovine tuberculosis - Enzootic bovine leucosis - Contagious bovine pleuropneumonia - Ovine and caprine brucellosis - Scrapie - Salmonella in poultry - ASF/CSF, SVD - Aujeszky's disease
