The PHARE indicative programme for Albania, 1993-1994, was formally agreed between the Commission of the European Communities and the Government of Albania on 2 July 1993. The programme defines priorities for that portion of the PHARE budget to be assigned to Albania during the two-year period. These priorities will now be evaluated and their exact content specified. The indicative programme focuses on restructuration of the agricultural, health and private sectors, the development of infrastructure with regard to public administration and the environment, and the development of human resources (involving the TEMPUS programme). A further evaluation will take place at the end of 1993, and priorities may be revised to take account of any changes in Albania's situation.
