European STRATA programme oversubscribed
The European Commission has announced that the STRATA programme (strategic analysis of specific political issues) has proved so popular that they have been overwhelmed with applications. STRATA, a policy development activity under the Improving Human Potential Programme of the European Commission's Fifth Framework programme now has sufficient good projects waiting for funding, and is unable to fund any more On account of substantial over subscription, DG Research advises that interested parties wait until the 2001 call for proposals and new budget, which will be announced early in 2001.
