The European Commission's Directorate-General for Trade is calling for expressions of interest in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) to promote European Union trade policy. Those interested in having their names entered on a list of potential contractors for the following types of project are invited to submit an application in accordance with the rules set out in the official call text. DG Trade will draw up eight different lists (applications can be made for one, several or all of these) of potentially qualified contractors to carry out projects that would involve the following tasks: - Lot 1: editing and journalistic writing of information products; - Lot 2: graphic and production tasks; - Lot 3: organisation of events; - Lot 4: actions in the audio-visual field; - Lot 5: relations with the specialised press; - Lot 6: evaluation of the impact of information products; - Lot 7: communication and information strategy; - Lot 8: assistance in managing of the electronic information and Internet tools. Following this notice, the authorising department will draw up a list of qualified potential contractors, which will be used solely for contracts whose estimated value is below the threshold laid down in the relevant public procurement Directive (92/50/EEC). Each time a contract for a specific project is to be concluded relating the types of projects described above, the authorising department will send the specifications to all the candidates on the list or to some of them, selected on the basis of particular criteria for the contract concerned. The different lists of potential contractors will remain valid for a period of three years as from the date of publication of this call for expressions of interest. The list will be open-ended. Any interested contractor may apply for inclusion at any time up to six months before the end of its period of validity. Expressions of interest should be sent to: European Commission Directorate-General for Trade Directorate A - General Affairs Unit A1 Human administrative and financial resources External service programming Mr E.
