Media Plus programme support for festivals
The European Commission is calling for proposals to support promotion and market access in the context of festivals as part of its Media Plus programme to encourage the development, distribution and promotion of European audiovisual works. The call addresses European organisations and operators contributing to the following two measures: - Measure one: encouraging cooperative projects with a European dimension involving audiovisual events from at least eight Member States participating or cooperating in the programme, with a common action plan to promote European audiovisual works and their movement; - Measure 2: supporting audiovisual festivals realised in partnership that screen a significant proportion of European works.
