Agricultural research in the ERA - proceedings available
The proceedings from a conference on 'agricultural research in the European research area' (ERA) held in Versailles, France, on 5 and 6 December 2000 are now available on-line. These include an introduction by Jean Glavany, the French Minister for Agriculture, and Philippe Busquin, European Commissioner for Research. Background to the preparatory seminars is available, as well as the conference programme, a list of participants and summary conference reports. The conference conclusions and a full conference report will be published shortly. Complete copies of speeches made by key figures at the conference are also available.
