New page to introduce virtual meeting places on CORDIS
CORDIS, the European Commission Research and Development Information Service, offers a new gateway to intranets and discussion forums hosted on the service. Forums are interactive communication platforms for contributors from specific research groups from different locations. CORDIS provides users and information providers with dedicated and structured information spaces that enable fast exchanges, namely to publish point of views, share key documents, prepare meetings, disseminate best practice, and facilitate discussions and debates. The new page offers a gateway to both open and limited access forums. The revamped information gives a more user-friendly access to basic information on the services available as well as information on how to initiate new forums for research and development programme-related groups or networks. CORDIS will soon propose a further developed facility to foster debates and to build up shared forums, including a chat feature.
