Prodi speaks to astronaut at space station
In an audio-video link take place on 25 April between the international Space Station and the EC's Europe by Satellite (EbS) studios in Brussels, the first European astronaut to go to the space station, Umberto Guidoni, will tell Commission President Romano Prodi and ESA Director General Antonio Rodotà about his experience so far. Mr Guidoni lifted off from the Kennedy Space Center in the Space Shuttle Endeavour on 19 April. The 11 day mission is the ninth shuttle visit to the International Space Station, and will involve at least two space walks.
