Ministers discuss student mobility
Education ministers from 29 European countries will gather in Prague, Czech Republic in order to discuss the harmonisation on Europe's different education systems and increasing student mobility. The meeting, to be chaired by Sweden's Minister for Education and Science, Thomas Östros and Eduard Zeman, Minister of Education, Youth and PT in the Czech Republic will follow up 1999's Bologna Declaration, which committed 29 countries to reform their own higher education systems in order to create overall convergence at European level. Ministers will adopt a communiqué at Prague, describing the continuation of work and a follow up to the Bologna Declaration.
