Independent experts' reports on FP5 published on CORDIS
CORDIS, The European Commission's Research and Development Information Service, has published all 2000 Annual Monitoring Reports on activities conducted under the Fifth framework programme (FP5). The annual monitoring report on FP5 and special reports on each thematic and horizontal programme are available in English in downloadable formats. Those reports presented by independent experts in May 2001 are the second in the series of external annual monitoring reports prepared for the current Framework programme. They also highlight progress in relation to ongoing activities under the Fourth framework programme. Each report consists of three parts: the external monitoring report prepared by experts, timely responses from the programme director and of the programme management to the recommendations produced by the experts. As well as giving recommendations, monitoring reports review programme activities, statistics, key action implementation and management. The reports should help reinforce the establishment of best practices, identify and correct weaknesses in programme implementation, and facilitate future multi-annual programme evaluation.
