The European Commission's Environment DG has announced a call for tenders for a study on the gathering of information on substances in endocrine disrupters with insufficient data. The objectives of the contract are: - to define a methodology by which to investigate 435 candidate substances identified in the BKH report with a view to establishing priorities for further evaluation of the role of these substances in endocrine disrupters; - to gather data/information on these 435 substances, in accordance with the methodology defined; - to define an iterative mechanism by which new substances may be included or existing substances removed from the candidate list of substances as new evidence comes to light.
