Commission announces call for study on promotion of renewable energies
The European Commission has announced a call for tender for analysis and recommendations on how renewable energies could be further promoted in the European Community and at Member State (national) level. The objective of this study will be to inform Commission policymakers on how renewables, taking into account current proposals such as the Directive on the promotion of electricity from renewable energies, could contribute to meeting emission reduction objectives for Kyoto and beyond.
