CORDIS, the European Commission's Research and Development Information Service, is helping the EU's newly associated States' (NAS) to take advantage of the latest Growth call for proposals by providing user-friendly access to a list of eligible projects. On 1 September 2001, a new call for proposals was published to support the extension of existing Growth funded projects to NAS organisations. Information on projects that meet the eligibility criteria is published on the CORDIS Growth programme service. More than 300 projects are described in full, with the project objectives, coordinator contact details and list of participants included. Projects are presented by key actions. In addition, following a survey carried out by the Growth programme, some project coordinators have shown a high level of interest in having NAS partners participate in their project. These projects are flagged on the Growth site. The project information should encourage the opening of the Growth programme to NAS partners. It should be helpful for NAS organisations interested in European partnerships and technology transfer, particularly in the fields of aeronautics, innovative products and materials, marine technologies and land transports. Further information related to the dedicated call published on 1 September is directly accessible on CORDIS.
