A call for tenders by open procedure has been issued by the Commission of the European Communities, Directorate-General XI (Environment, Nuclear Safety and Civil Protection). In order to perform various tasks arising from the Community's policy and regulatory activities regarding the control of industrial installations, the Commission is planning to conclude framework contracts for "scientific assistance" services in the fields of: - Eco-management and audit; - Major industrial hazards. The framework contracts will be concluded for a maximum of three years.
