Commission seeks enterprise restructuring facility for Ukraine
The European Commission has published a service contract forecast for an enterprise restructuring facility for Ukraine as part of the Tacis programme. The objective of the project is to increase the rate and quality of restructuring companies and to improve corporate governance in the Ukrainian enterprise sector. The project will aim to contribute towards the restructuring of private enterprises through the provision of policy advice and training to managers of selected enterprises from priority development regions completing the transfer of social assets to local authorities. The specific objectives are: - to improve the access of medium and large enterprises to appropriate sources of business restructuring advice; - to disseminate widely the results of successful restructuring to enterprise managers and other identified target groups; - to strengthen the professional organisation of management consultancy service providers; - to provide analysis of the results of the enterprise restructuring undertaken to appropriate policy making institutions. The indicative maximum budget is three million euro.
