CORDIS Focus supplement addresses R&D, innovation and enlargement
A new CORDIS Focus supplement entitled 'EU R&D [research and development], innovation and enlargement: a focus on the newly associated states (NAS)', which aims to encourage further participation in and benefit from the Fifth Framework programme (FP5) by organisations in the NAS, is now available free of charge. With the introduction of the Sixth Framework programme (FP6) rapidly approaching, now is a good time to forge new partnerships which will provide a strong foundation for future collaborative R&D. This supplement seeks to offer information to NAS (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia) and Member State organisations searching for new partnerships. The supplement provides information on sources of support, assistance and contact to aid programme participation and presents projects and results involving the NAS. The supplement also contains information on centres of excellence in the NAS and a list of national contact points in each of the NAS.
