UK aid for energy efficient technology RTD
The Commission has approved the refinancing, for the financial years 1989-1990 to 1993-1994, of a United Kingdom scheme which encourages the development of energy efficient technologies and techniques. The programme, "Energy Efficiency Best Practice", aids fundamental, basic industrial, and applied research. The preliminary budget for 1993-1994 is in the region of ECU 4.5 million. Maximum aid intensities are 50% of eligible costs for basic industrial research and 25% of eligible costs for applied RTD. Fundamental research may be funded up to 100%.
