Commission launches open consultation on pan-EU government e-services
The European Commission has launched an open consultation on the interchange of data between administrations (IDA), aimed at identifying needs and opportunities in pan-European government e-services. The consultation will provide information for both the Commission and the Member States on how enterprises can benefit from pan-EU government e-services, which EU Member States are currently putting in place. The enterprises in question are those that interact electronically across Europe's borders with public administrations in other Member States. All stakeholders who make use of government e-services, particularly those who interact with public administrations in other EU Member States, are invited to submit their contributions by 17 June 2002 at the address below.
