New Commission supported website offers advice to innovative entrepreneurs
The European Commission has launched a new website, Gate2Growth.com designed to help entrepreneurs start, finance and develop their businesses. The service is a portal, bringing together networks of entrepreneurs, investors and service providers supported by the European Commission: - I-TecNet is a meeting place for early stage technology venture capital investors; - the Gate2Growth incubator forum is a network of Europe's incubator professionals; - ProTon Europe is the pan-European association of university industrial liaison and patent officers; - the Gate2Growth finance academia brings together business and management schools from across Europe. Entrepreneurs are able to build a business plan and receive feedback in the secure DataRoom. Users can develop a business plan based on diagnostics performed by industry and finance experts, test the interest of investors and adapt their plans accordingly and identify the appropriate support which will be needed at each step. Gate2Growth will also be holding events, such as entrepreneurship introduction courses, an intensive entrepreneur bootcamp, an annual partnering event and an online business plan contest.
