Environmental dialogue between EU and Asia - call for proposals
The European Commission has published a call for proposals for the Asia Pro Eco programme. The programme is designed to strengthen environmental dialogue between Europe and Asia. Areas of activity include promotion and support for environmental research and development (R&D) networks, environmental management capacity and market-based approaches to environmental protection and development. Each activity should take the form of a diagnostic activity, a technology partnership or a demonstration activity. The geographical area covered by the project is the EU plus Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, East Timor, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
