CORDIS Partners Service gives more visibility to partnership requests from Slovenia
CORDIS, the European Commission's Research and Development Information Service, is giving extensive coverage of partnership requests from Slovenian organisations. Following collaboration with the Slovenian Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the Institute of information science, the Partners service now has more than 400 new profiles of organisations willing to participate in the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). The service covers partnership requests from companies, research institutions and universities, highlighting their interest in specific FP6 thematic research areas. CORDIS offers huge visibility to over 1,300 organisations from candidate countries, thus facilitating their involvement in European research. A dedicated search interface is also available on the CORDIS FP6 service to identify potential co-players for pan-European consortia. This free service is a key tool for finding the best research partners and for building up new networks and technology-oriented partnerships. Further collaboration with candidate countries partnering institutions is foreseen to complement the service and strengthen partnering opportunities among European organisations.
