Commission to publish call for establishment of European e-business policies portal
The European Commission has published a prior information notice regarding a call for tenders for technical assistance for the establishment and maintenance of a European e-business policies portal. The call also covers the provision of support to the European e-business support network for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). The main tasks include the design, creation and maintenance of the European e-business policies portal, the collection and management of information material about initiatives helping SMEs to 'go digital' (information about e-business policy initiatives, statistical data about the take-up of e-business among European SMEs, examples of best practice, news, announcements, articles, etc.), as well as providing support services to a few thematic workshops organised by members of the network.
